we're looking to build a new home within the next two years. there are several drivers for this decision:
- to live in the school zone of the school where my wife teaches
- a home that is designed for us and our needs
- a home that doesn't blend with all others on the block
- to prove that high-style homes can be built on a limited (but fair) budget
- to participate fully in the design and build process
- to incorporate some sustainability functions into our home
more to come... the purpose of this blog is evloutionary, just like we want the entire project to be!
